Dr. Sasan Garakani received his specialty certificate in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery as well as a Doctor of Medical Sciences from Harvard University. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery. He obtained his doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Los Angeles, California School Of Dentistry.

His clinical and research interests have been in implant dentistry and the use of innovative concepts and technologies for periodontal regeneration. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals.
